Fire Station 21
 
A 1970's shot of Atlanta Fire Dept Station 21 when it was located at 248 Buckhead Avenue. (1933 to 1984) Someone backed the fire engine into the wall.
Company Twenty-One started as Fulton County Fire Station No 1 on June 27, 1931 and was located at 245 Buckhead Avenue (Sims Ave.) in Buckhead Community of unincorporated Fulton County. This station was the result of discussions between Atlanta Chief William B. Cody and Fulton County to build, equip and for AFD to administer Station 21 by the Atlanta Fire Chief. Atlanta annexed Buckhead on January 1, 1952 and the address was changed to 248 Buckhead Avenue NE. On September 21, 1984, the company relocated to its present location at 3201 Roswell Road NE.
Company Twenty-One operates a 2017 Paramedic KME 1500 GPM pumper, 2017 KME 101 Ft. Tractor Drawn Aerial, Georgia Search and Rescue 6 which is a 2004 Spartan/Rosenbauer Tractor Drawn Apparatus and Trail King Compartment trailer and Ford Air Bag unit. Battalion Six is housed at Station Twenty-One and operates a 2013 Ford F250 Pickup Command Vehicle.
